On the night of 25th March 2020, when the COVID-19 lockdown was announced in India, everything closed except for grocery stores,pharmacies,and even doctor’s clinics. People had a very hard time accessing medical care, except those in government hospitals however, even those were difficult to reach due to public transportation completely shutting down.
Our founder, Dr. Nasar Sultan,decided to provide free medical consultancy to sick people through WhatsApp, Skype, and over telephone. He introduced a website for telemedicine at Chapra, Bihar. However, this technology was difficult for people to understand. Though having easy access to healthcare providers from anywhere on a mobile phone, easily getting prescriptions and even scheduling lab work from home was becoming popular in metropolitan cities of India, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc.
